Friday, April 20th and Saturday, April 21st is Celebration of Smiles, a service that Nissle Fine Art Photography is participating in with hundreds of photographers throughout the nation. We have nearly reached our goal to save a childs smile! We know that even if we don't fully save a smile (the amount of 10 donated sessions), we have helped make a difference.
Photography is a profession all about service. Through the 40 plus years we have been in business we have seen thousands of clients, and even more happy smiles. As we deliver a timeless work of art, cherished for generations, we know we are delivering the emotion of joy. As a service oriented business, we have the privledge of donating our time and services for various causes that help benefit individuals and families! At any given moment we have at least one display that has been checked out of our studio for the purpose of showcasing what we are donating at any particular event. We love what we do!
It is our joy and happiness to be a part of something bigger than just taking portraits, and helping our clients see that portraiture is more than just a file or a piece of paper, it's a memory. So, when you think about having portraits taken of your family, or your children, or yourself...think about the emotions that are going to be tied to that memory. Don't just get the files so you can save them on your computer, forever to be shuffled into some folder never to be seen again. Opt to have something printed, whether it's a smaller print for a mantle or a large print for your wall. Those memories on display reunite the happy emotions and can bring a sense of love at home.

Promotion On APRIL 20th-21st!
We thought you would want to know about a very special promotion we will be participating in with an elite group of photographers from around the country. On April 20th-21st, 2012 we will host “Celebration of Smiles Day” a wonderful opportunity for you to update individual portraits of your family members and at the same time support the work of Operation Smile, which treats children around the world who suffer with cleft lips, cleft palates and other facial deformities.
Along with other participating members of Professional Photographers of America (PPA), we have pledged to donate 100% of each $24 donation made to PPA Charities, which has chosen Operation Smile as its charitable partner.
Recording the smiles of children and their families is our greatest pleasure. That’s why we believe so strongly in the work of Operation Smile. Each year this incredible organization of more than 5,000 volunteer doctors, nurses, dentists, and special ized health care professionals, perform free reconstructive surgeries for children suffering with cleft lips, cleft palates and other facial deformities.
Every three minutes a child somewhere in the world is born with a facial deformity. One in ten will not survive to see their first birthday. Those who do survive often live in isolation and pain. More than 100,000 children are born with a facial deformity each year in Operation Smile’s 26 partner countries.
We hope you will join with us in helping to make this vital work possible. As always . . . we look forward to creating some truly wonderful portraits of you or your family members.

2) Come for your Nissle Quality portrait session and feel good, knowing you're supporting a noble cause!
3) View your images in our theatre room and make your favorite "smile" selection for you business page, portfolio update, facebook image, family geneology image, or home display. We'll have special prices if you'd like to order additional images.
4) Receive your image[s] in about two weeks!

1) March 23rd - 24th Springtime Portraits with Bunnies
Our springtime set is full of surprise from flowers and candy to real live bunnies! Your little ones will love this session. Dress them in slacks and Easter dresses for timeless portraits that you will cherish always.
2) April 20th - 21st Celebration of Smiles (A Fundraising Opportunity through www.ppacharities.com)
For a minimum donation of $24, you’ll receive the gift of a portrait mini-session and desk-size portrait. This Fundraiser will help benefit children with cleft lip. Every 10 sessions we photograph, or every $240 will pay for one surgical procedure to give a child a smile!
3) April 23rd - 28th Mommy & Me
A Mommy & Me session is a wonderful way to celebrate that special bond between mother and child. You can include Grandma as well, if you like. These portraits make beautiful Mother’s Day gifts, as well as lasting heirlooms that your family can enjoy for generations to come.
4) May 28th - June 2nd "My Daddy's A..." Father's Day Portraits
A BIG hit last year, our “My Daddy’s A...” session is a cute opportunity for your kids to dress up like Daddy, to celebrate their love and appreciation for all the hard work Daddy does! These portraits make perfect Father’s Day gifts for Dad’s office or study.

Here are some charming ideas to incorporate into your wedding day to make it extra special for those who are nearest to your heart.
Mother
A double frame makes a wonderful gift for your mother. On one side, use a picture of you and your mother when you were a little girl and on the other, a picture of you together on your wedding day—hugging, getting ready together or something like that. For an extra-special touch, have the frame engraved to read, “I’ll always be your little girl.”
Father
If you wear a blusher veil, it is traditional to give it to your father after your wedding day, as a memento of that moment in your lives. A shadow box is a cute way to display this gift, along with a portrait of you walking down the aisle or having your father-daughter dance during the reception.
Maid of Honor
A framed portrait of you together on your wedding day with a necklace or a gift card to a spa is the perfect thank you to your maid of honor. Have each bride’s maid sign the sole of your shoe before the ceremony for good luck. Whoever’s name is darkest by the end of the day will be married next.
Best Man
An engraved flask, a box of cigars or a nice set of cufflinks are all thoughtful gestures to give to the best man in your wedding. Be sure to get a portrait of all the groomsmen and the groom doing a toast. This makes a wonderful framed gift to give to each, along with a handwritten thank you card.
Flower Girl
An engraved locket is a wonderful gift for your flower girl. Alternately, a charming music box would also be cherished for years to come. Take a picture with your flower girl, and wait until her wedding day to give it to her, along with a heartfelt message about how proud you are to see her grow into a beautiful woman.
Future Children
Save a few bottles of wine from your wedding (depending on how many children you plan to have) and box each one up with a picture of you and your husband on your wedding day, as well as a heartfelt, handwritten message. This makes a wonderful gift many years down the road on your children’s wedding day.
Anniversary
Save the top tier of your wedding cake and freeze it until your one year anniversary. This makes for a wonderfully romantic memento from your wedding day.
For that big 25, use one of those bottles of wine that you set aside for your kids, if you have extras!
For your 50th, go to the place you were married and renew your vows in front of your closest and most dear family and friends. Be sure to save your shoes, veil and dress, wrapping them in linen and storing them in an airtight, watertight place. If you don’t end up renewing your vows in them, a daughter or granddaughter might love to wear it again.
